8 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt and pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
8 slices white bread
2 c. grated cheddar or longhorn cheese
1 c. cubed ham or sausage
Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Layer
bread, ham and cheese alternately in bottom of
shallow dish. Pour egg mixture over all and
refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for
one hour. You can saute a green and red pepper
and scallions and add to egg mixture for a little
color.

1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
2 large eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. chocolate chips (but I use more)
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Beat eggs on high speed in large mixer bowl until foamy.
Beat in butter. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Spoon into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 to 60
minutes.
